Ms Wills wanted to create a serene and timeless bathroom with a spa-like ambiance. The goal was to create a space that would withstand the test of time for Ms Wills and her family. 

Firstly we removed the bathtub, as it was seldom used, and replaced it with a practical and elegant walk-in shower. Soft, neutral tones were carefully selected to evoke a sense of calm and relaxation around the bathroom, ensuring the space feels warm yet contemporary. 

After visiting our showroom, Ms Wills fell in love with the Odyssey Mezzo Soprano patterned tiles by Clay & Rock, and wanted these incorporated into the design. We felt that these were best placed behind the basin and on the shower tray, as it added interest to these features without overpowering any elements. Special attention was given to the intricate pattern matching on the shower tray, ensuring that the design aligned seamlessly while allowing for proper water drainage.

To achieve a classic and timeless look, chrome fixtures were selected. A built-in shower seat was included to provide a comfortable spot for relaxation, enhancing the overall spa-like experience. 

As this was the client’s only bathroom, maximizing storage was a priority. Custom cabinetry and shelving solutions were integrated to ensure ample space for essentials. Two recessed niches were incorporated into the shower and behind the WC, featuring LED lighting for ambient illumination and practical toiletry storage. 

A bespoke, backlit vanity mirror was installed to fill the empty wall, enhancing the sense of space and brightness in the room. To soften the overall aesthetic, natural wood textures were introduced through the flooring, complementing the neutral tones and adding warmth. 

The end result is a sophisticated, spa-like retreat that meets the client’s needs for relaxation, practicality, and timeless elegance.
